for the Education
of Young Children CAEYC
is a nonprofit organization representing all types of early childhood
services in the greater Cleveland area.
CAEYC is a respected network of professionals committed to improving
the quality and availability of services for young children (age birth
through eight years) and their families. ·
Together
we speak in an informed, respected, and growing voice for young children as
we: ·
Advocate
for the professionals who work with and for young children ·
Advocate
for legislation and public policy affecting young children and their
families. ·
Expand
our knowledge and improve our skills. Our membership includes teachers and students, assistants
and administrators working in programs for young children, family day care
providers, professionals from many disciplines, elected and appointed
officials, parents and other adults committed to the healthy growth and
development of all children. Our Mission is to
provide education, support, networking opportunities and an informed growing
voice for early childhood professionals as we enhance the quality of care and
education for young children in Greater Cleveland. We are a leader in the
early childhood community representing the rich diversity in Greater
Cleveland and advocating for quality care and education for young children
and their families. CAEYC is a local affiliate of both
the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the Ohio
Association for the Education of Young Children (OAEYC). We now have a membership consultant provided
to us from the Ohio AEYC. Susan
